About Overlea Coach House

Overlea Coach House is a sleek, modern lodge on the edge of the Peak District National Park. This single-storey retreat sits near Hayfield in Derbyshire. The private hot tub with countryside views makes this spot perfect for couples who want to soak away their stress. It's a proper grown-up getaway without the faff.

The location is spot on. Perched just outside the Peak District, you're close enough to the hills for amazing walks but not so remote that you'll need to pack a month's worth of supplies. The Sett Valley Trail is right on your doorstep. Underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove mean you'll be toasty whatever the weather throws at you. Perfect for those "is it raining or is it sunny?" British days.

This open-plan lodge features a king-size bedroom, smart shower room with walk-in shower and a contemporary kitchen-dining-living space. The kitchen comes fully equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge. Entertainment is sorted with Smart TV, Sonos sound system and WiFi throughout. They've even thought about your morning caffeine fix with a coffee machine and pods provided.

We just wanted to add how much of a wonderful time at oversea coach house over the festive period. It was just what we needed to allow us to rest and recharge in our time off. Every little detail was wonderful the house had everything we needed and didnt know we needed even when we cooked Christmas dinner. We will 100 be returning sometime in the future.
We had an amazing stay as the coach house. The place is decorated lovely and is in a peaceful location allowing you to fully relax. We loved that the property had additional toilet roll, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets might seem small but really helps
Loved the property and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Peak District. Its in a great location aswell as being well furnished. Only comment I could make would be the sofa being more comfortable but that was the least of my worries!

Spent a fantastic weekend here, the Coach House is beautiful, everything has been thought of to make your stay perfect. There are so many walks right on your doorstep and a stroll into town for pub visits, shops etc so it's in a great location whatever you are after.

The contents page should be updated to include robes supplied, dishwasher in property. Alan was on hand to give advice or information on surrounding area. Good value for money. We had a lovely time. The coach house was lovely and clean. It had everything you needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The living space was great and we loved waking up with a cup of tea in the morning looking out at the views. It was everything my husband and I wanted, fresh air, nice walks. The villages New Mills or Hayfield are a nice walk away down the sett trail, and pure relaxation in the evenings. Loved it we will be back.

Lovely place, very peaceful. Property very clean with beautiful furnishings, welcome pack was a lovely gesture. Well equipped with plenty of spare items at hand, at no extra cost to us. Our only suggestions to the owners are Maybe think about a tv in bedroom, we went for total R&R and would have been nice to watch tv in bed. The outside lights could do with being on a timer so they go off at midnight, for those who like to sleep in darkness. Quite a bit of light still comes through blinds. All in all fantastic place and would highly recommend
Fantastic property, with brilliant facilities and a geeat selection of kitchen utensils, pans, plates etc. . though no egg cups The property is in a lovely location which is just far enough away from the main road to be quiet, but close enough via public footpaths and bridleways to walk to birch vale, hayfield and new mills along the sett valley trail. My wife and I are looking forward to staying at overlea farm again.

Everything was top notch! ! As i was instructed, follow google maps to get here, i nearly went up a bridlepath using Waze!! We arrived on a hot weekend and there being no windows to open in the bedroom, we went out and purchased a fan, as there were none provided. Everything else was great

Great place to stay for a relaxing holiday. Apart from the hot tub there were lots of little extras to help make things luxurious, such as Sonos sound, Spotify, Netflix and Prime. Bed was comfy and the shower was great. Robes were supplied for use after hot tubbing. Owners were very friendly too.

New property does everything, enjoyed the underfloor heating. The log burner was very good too, liked the self cleaning element. Xmas tree was a nice touch for the season.
This was our second visit to overlea Farm after previously staying in the cottage and we will definitely be making another return visit. From the moment you arrive, it is nothing short of perfection. There is nothing that hasn't been thought of to make this a truly amazing break. The accommodation, surroundings and host are just so so good, the only thing difficult is chossing which of the accommodation to stay next!

We were the first guests to stay at overlea coach house and I must say we weren't disappointed. Everything met our expectations it was clean,warm,well equipped and very comfortable.little touches like the welcome basket with eggs,bread,milk,biscuits and butter were appreciated.There was a coffee machine and a tablet with all the information you need for your stay and even dressing gowns and blankets to snuggle up on the sofa in front of the log burner after long walks and time in the hot tub. I would definitely recommend a stay here .
