Offering fresh and cosy holiday accommodation for up to four, the property provides a relaxing retreat for guests exploring the stunning scenery along the southern edge of the Peak District. Perfect for discovering the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire, the property is a bright and airy getaway within easy reach of a fascinating variety of landmarks and local attractions. Some external steps lead up to this fresh and relaxing property. Popping on a pair of complimentary slippers, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides an ideal space for you to settle back and relax. With a Smart TV and plenty of seating – including a handy sofa bed for children – the lounge is a perfect space to snuggle up, read a book or watch a movie. You can plan the day’s activities and enjoy a hearty meal around the central dining area, while the stylish kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Exploring the ground floor further, there’s also a delightful children’s bedroom with small bunk beds. Going upstairs, you will find the cosy double bedroom which has a picture window offering lovely views. There’s also a refreshing shower room on the first floor. The historic mill town of Wirksworth has a long history and plenty to discover including the StarDisc, the National Stone Centre, an independent cinema, Mount Cook Adventure Centre, a fascinating Heritage Centre and the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. Close to the start of the High Peak Trail, Wirksworth is also within easy reach of landmarks and attractions including Carsington Water, the Heights of Abraham, Gulliver’s Kingdom Haddon Hall, Crich Tramway Village and Chatsworth House (all within 12.5 miles).
