Oliver
We had a lovely stay at this charming place. The owners were super friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. We enjoyed chatting with them at the local pub, which had great food and a nice atmosphere. Ashbourne was just a short walkand there’s plenty to explore nearby - Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are definitely worth visiting. Would recommend!
Emma
Really enjoyed the stay, comfy accessories, felt just like being at home, loved it!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at this cosy lodge! It’s super clean and welcoming, just a short drive from Ashbourne. The village pub nearby served up some cracking mealsand Julie was always around if we needed anything. Only downside was the WiFi, which kept dropping out, probably just the area. The hot tub was a highlight, we used it every day. Would definitely come back!
Emma
The lodge was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with a fantastic hot tub. The nearby pub, The Cock Inn, served absolutely delicious food-such a lovely stay overall!
Emma
We had a great weekend here! The place was spotless with everything we needed. The hot tub was a lovely treatand being near the Tissington Trail made cycling perfect.
James
We had a lovely family break here. The beds were super comfyand the place was spotless, which we really appreciated. The hot tub was a real highlight, adding a touch of luxury. There are nice walks nearbyand although the local pub opens later, it’s worth the wait. Shops are about a mile away, but no big deal.
Emma
We stayed in a charming little cabin that had all the essentials. Shops were just a short drive away, which was really handy. The only thing was the hot tub timings; the website said it closed at half 10, but it was actually half 9. After a long day of hiking, it’s a bit of a shame not to enjoy it later!

Great spot with all we needed
Emma Clarke
We had a lovely stay! The host was genuinely warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The cottage is nestled in a peaceful village, perfect for relaxing escapes after a hectic year. It’s in a great spot for walks and exploring, with plenty of shops nearby for essentials. Our dog loved it too-long walks clearly wore him out! We’d definitely come back again. It was our first holiday with our pupand he had a fantastic time!
Emma Roberts
Our stay at Henmore Lodge was really enjoyable. The location is perfect for exploring The Peak Districtand we loved unwinding in the hot tub after long days of walking. The place is tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. It’s also handy being close to the supermarket. We did have some Wi-Fi dropouts, but they sorted it out quickly. Definitely recommending Henmore Lodge to friends - we’re hoping to come back soon!
Mark

Martin
This place really felt special - like a cosy home with boutique touches. The finish is top-notch but still so inviting. We loved the vibe and the stunning setting. Honestly, we’d come back in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend if you want something different!
James
We stayed for six nights in this lovely lodge, which was super cosy and well furnished. The beds were really comfy and it’s in a peaceful village, with a pub close by and not far from Ashbourne. Coming back to the hot tub after a day out was just perfect. The owners were friendly if we needed anything. We’d happily return and recommend it!
George
We had a lovely stay in this peaceful village. The place is beautifully decorated and very clean, with everything you'd need for a comfortable visit. Plenty of room for a dog crate too, which was great for our furry friend. There's an Aldi nearby, plus a retail park and a charming garden centre. The pub two doors up looks nice, but unfortunately, they no longer serve food. The hosts were super friendly and always around if we needed anything. Nice spot overall!
Emma
After 35 years exploring British cottages, this one genuinely stood out as one of the best ever!
Emily
Really enjoyed it, will definitely return
James
