And let's be honest - after a day of hiking, you'll appreciate not having to climb stairs!
The accommodation sleeps up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms - 2 doubles and 1 twin, all with Smart TVs (because countryside doesn't mean you can't binge-watch in bed). The open-plan living area features a comfy sofa, Smart TV and fully-equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. One bathroom with shower and WC serves all guests - the only downside according to Tasneem who visited with 5 people!
Nearby attractions include Calke Abbey (4 miles, 10 mins), Melbourne Hall Gardens (2 miles, 5 mins), Foremark Reservoir (3 miles, 8 mins) and Swadlincote Snowsports Centre (7 miles, 15 mins). Shop and pub just 2 miles away.
The Badger At Badger Brook is perfect for anyone seeking countryside tranquillity with a touch of luxury. The private hot tub is the cherry on top - nothing beats sipping wine under the stars while your muscles thank you for the warm bubbles. Just remember to try those fresh farm eggs!
